I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, and received a Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the University of Georgia. I am currently a postdoctoral research associate under the joint supervision of Drs. Raymond Carroll, Robert Chapkin, Irina Gaynanova, and Yang Ni.
My research focuses on addressing statistical issues in analyzing microbiome data, single-cell RNA-sequence data, integrating data from multiple sources, and identifying key functionalities in host and microbial community-wide networks.
